Where did Bowen Technique come from?

Bowen Technique was developed in the 1950’s by the late Tom Bowen from Geelong, Victoria.

After serving in World War 11, he became interested in ways of alleviating human suffering and noticed that certain moves on the body had a profound effect; he continued to develop the technique until his death.

Tom Bowen treated over 13,000 clients a year people would travel hours to have a treatment.

Tom died in 1962  and there is a memorial dedicated to him in Geelong.
